The 2006 light show introduced synchronized video to the display. The video was displayed in a homemade rear projection wreath screen created from PVC, and was one of the first uses of synchronized video in the home display community. The display was also featured in The History Channel's Modern Marvels Christmas Tech episode.

Programming of the display began in late Summer and continued through Thanksgiving week for installation.
